Advent Software says it promoted James Cox to CFO from principal accounting officer

Advent promotes Cox to Chief Financial Officer

SAN FRANCISCO — Investment management software maker Advent Software Inc. said Wednesday it promoted James Cox to chief financial officer from principal accounting officer.

Cox, 37, is taking the CFO role from Stephanie DiMarco, Advent’s founder and CEO. Cox joined Advent in 2006 as corporate controller.
