How to convert FLV to AVI for editing in iMovie

Click Browse button and choose the output path where you want the converted AVI video to be stored.
Step 3
Look for the format option. Click the downarrow to get the Archos player video or Creative Zen Player video(*.avi). On the contrary you can convert avi to flv by selecting the (*.flv).
Step 4
Click on the convert button to start the conversion.

Recommend you check out VLC. It’s free, and open source. Seems to handle FLV files OK - and certainly can convert them to WMV, MPG, etc. It does have some issues with converting / playing the audio portion of FLVs on occasion though. |
