New York (GaeaTimes.com) - The 4chan website has allegedly taken revenge to put a stop to the offence aimed at them. 4chan recently discovered a fact that there were attacks on popular torrent tracker websites done by Aiplex Software by launching DDoS. One of the websites was The Pirate Bay which was targeted by Aiplex Software.

4chan is an English-language imageboard website. It was launched on October 1, 2003. The posting of pictures and discussion of manga and anime are primarily use of the site. The posts are generally sent anonymously by the users. Internet subcultures and activism, most notably Project Chanology - these three places are those where the sites are linked to.

The MPAA provides the Database of the movies. It also gives its ratings reasons. This helps us describe the content of movies.

DDoS means distributed denial of service. By this attack, the server is brought down by sending too many requests at a time. It cannot respond to everyone and eventually gets down.

4chan have initiated a DDoS attack on both Aiplex Software and the MPAA. The sites are supposedly down due to that reason.

This attack started on Friday 9PM Eastern at night approximately. The “call to action” letter to 4chan for the users has already been sent.

It is uncertain till how long this DDoS attack will continue. It is almost impossible to avoid these circumstances. Otherwise, these organizations have to allot another IP address to their services. But the new server may be attacked as well.
