Volkswagen Canada on track for best ever sales
AJAX, Ontario — Volkswagen Canada said Thursday that its 2010 sales pace means it is on track for its highest-ever annual sales results.
The branch of the German automakers said it sold 3,369 vehicles in August and 30,135 year-to-date. That is higher than the 26,611 the company sold during first eight months of 2008.
Models including Jetta, Golf and Golf GTI posted strong sales during the month.
