The availability of the Windows Phone 7 during the upcoming holiday is getting bright. Rumors are also floating around that the device may be available as early as late September or October.
He further added in the blog post, Windows Phone 7 is going to be the most tested mobile platform. There are couple of additional new features in the new phone eg.
- You will be able to filter your contacts based on the sources. (e.g., you don’t have to see all of your Facebook contacts if you don’t want to).
- The ability to “like” Facebook posts from the People Hub and the ability to quickly post a message to a Facebook wall.
“Windows Phone 7 is the most thoroughly tested mobile platform Microsoft has ever released.
We had nearly ten thousand devices running automated tests daily, over a half million hours of active self-hosting use, over three and a half million hours of stress test passes, and eight and a half million hours of fully automated test passes. We’ve had thousands of independent software vendors and early adopters testing our software and giving us great feedback. We are ready,” commented, ” Terry Myerson commented in Windows Team blog.
