The information technology research firm posted a better-than-expected quarterly profit and raised its forecast for the year.

Ambac Financial Group Inc., down 20 cents to 70 cents

Fossil Inc., up $3.37 at $45.84

Strong sales in the U.S., Asia and Europe helped the watch company triple its quarterly profit, and guidance beat expectations.

Pegasystems Inc., down $6.34 at $23.31

The business software maker posted second-quarter adjusted earnings below Wall Street’s expectations.

Grand Canyon Education Inc., down $2.07 at $18.10

Investors remained focused on the increasingly heavy regulatory scrutiny and financial impact of proposed regulations at the for-profit school.

SciClone Pharmaceuticals Inc., down $1.03 at $2.48

The biotech company said it is facing inquiries from the SEC and Justice Department about possible violations of anti-bribery laws overseas.
