How to Recover your hacked Yahoo! account

Just imagine your yahoo account hacked from under your nose. All your personal mails, confidential files, pictures, membership access, and contacts being accessed by a disguised criminal. To your utter surprise it may happen that your zip code has been changed and deleted. Even your alternate email has been changed so there are no chances to reset your password. You are at complete loss.
If hackers have hijacked your account, no need to waste your time on Internet looking for hopeless tricks. Here’s what you need to do.
Send an email to Yahoo Account Security Department account account-security-help@cc.yahoo-inc.com mentioning the problem. Just keep in mind that you have to be polite with your writing. Provide them the details of the entire story. Mention the time and date when you accessed your account for the last time. Give the password that you last used to accessed your account. Most importantly provide the all the information you entered when you register your account or just the information when you last update your account. And wait for the response. Good luck.

My contacts list was stolen on 10-28-10, and all names on it received the ‘Robbed in London’ scam e-mail. My alternate e-mail address was also changed. I changed my password and sent a message to most contacts. Are the e-mail addresses on my Contacts list compromised in any way ? What can I do to prevent this from happening again? |

my yahoo account got hacked.. someone hacked it one month ago.. and i have been using yahoo since 2005.. how can i remember my secret answers? i think the person whom hijacked my account change every single fields in the account.. the person sent out a spam to all my contacts.. how can i retrieve back my account? i have been using it for so many years and now you guys keep asking me my secret answers which i have forgoten.. any help? |
