Carla Franklin Sues Google

San Francisco (GaeaTimes.com) - Carla Franklin has filed a case in Manhattan Supreme Court against someone who has posted some nasty comment over a video in YouTube, according to a report from New York Times. Carla Franklin has accused some user of You Tube for posting some rude comment beneath her video. Her legal papers say that this may harm her professional career as she is now a job seeker after completing her graduation from Ivy League business school in 2009. The former model completed her academics from Duke and Columbia. She has admitted that an anonymous person called her whore beneath a video she had made for a school.

According to David Fish, Carla’s lawyer,

People hide behind these shields and think they can just post anything. Hopefully, we can put a stop to this.

Franklin also said in her petition that someone has also published some of the clips her small budget film without authorization. The video clips have some vague comments which in turn make the brainy beauty and the celebrity uncomfortable, said her lawyer David Fish. Franklin got her undergraduate degree from Duke in biology and psychology back in 1999.

She has appeared in some video by Columbia Business School, where she had done her MBA. The video showed her giving some advice to some MBA aspirants in Africa who want to pursue their degree in that B school.

Franklin is following same legal approach of Liskula Cohen. Last year she had successfully got GOOGLE to unmask the names of the rival who blew the cover girl by comment like skank and an old hog. The approach is apparently increasing by the people offended from internet. Franklin is the latest addition to this list.

In reply of her petition, Mountain View, Calif. based Google Inc. has admitted that it doesn’t discuss individual cases to protect users’ privacy, but it follows applicable laws. Carla is seeking Google and YouTube to reveal the names or the address or some contact numbers of those people who labeled her with the nasty tag.
