San Francisco (GaeaTimes.com) - Chevy Chase Bank, F.S.B, is the largest locally-based banking company in Washington Metropolitan Area. But In September 2010, it was announced that this bank would be converted into Capital One Bank as Chevy Chase Bank was purchased by Capital One in September 2009. The president of Capital One Bank James Jackson said that he is very excited to introduce Capital One Bank in Washington.

For this reason, the bank spent extra money and time. The media blitz over the next couple of weeks will include large banners in the Washington, D.C., public transportation system, prominent locally targeted online advertising, and television commercials featuring star athletes to carry out the rebranding effort. The Capital One consulted with ten creative agencies.

They not only changed the name but also changed the signs at all Chevy Chase Bank branches, ATMs, corporate offices and customer touch points across the Mid-Atlantic region. Capital one Bank has also added some servicing enhancement for Bank customers. The customer will get many advantages for this. They’ll get 24 hours banking service on seven days in a week. There will be many new products which may help the customers. Capital One Bank also offers broader geographic coverage, with locations in New York, New Jersey, Louisiana and Texas in addition to those in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The president Mr. Jackson said that as it is a local business, Capital One is already involved in this community. They changed their sign but did not change their commitment to the local community. Capital One Bank has many branches across Mid-Atlantic, New York, New Jersey, Louisiana and Texas, which have their talented teams those are incredibly connected to the needs of their communities.
