google_logo Google accounts including Gmail one, only let people access one account at a time per browser. So if you already have two accounts and want to access both of them in your browser, it may be difficult to access. You have to sign out and sign in or use a second browser to access your other account. However, now you can visit this link google.com/accounts and you have to click in for “multiple sign_in”. After you sign into your first account, you can sign in up to two additional accounts from the new accounts menu in the upper right hand corner of Gmail. Then you can move back and forth between them at your convenience. You will also be able to open multiple Gmail tabs — one for each accounts.

This feature is available for “Advanced Users” and you need to watch out couple of things.

  • All Google services do not support Multiple Sign_in accounts. For services like Blogger and Picassa web album, you’ll be defaulted to the first account you signed in during that browser session. In other word, if you click on Blogger from Gmail account, you will be signed in to the first account of blogger despite the fact that you clicked the Blogger from your second email account.
  • You can sign in multiple accounts from your desktop browser only. So, if you want to sign in multiple accounts from your phone browser, you will not see this feature.
