As a result, Insight Cable is planning on a first hand upgrade from analog to digital signals in areas like Lexington and in the northern part of Kentucky.

All Insight Cable customers shall have to get themselves a mini converter box which will function to convert all signals from analog to digital. As a result, all Insight Cable customers shall be able to watch high definition channels without any hassle or hindrance. In addition, there will be a faster Internet along with caller line identification on their television sets.

Jason Keller, who happens to be the public affairs director for Insight Communications told the media that Bowling Green area shall soon witness an upgrade for all Insight Cable customers. However, these customers shall be able to access a minimum number of high definition channels. The Federal Communications Commission have already issued orders for all locally operating channels to go digital from analog and Insight Cable is the new inclusion to the list. Customers have already complained about their existing service which they receive through antennas and as a result Insight Cable decided to go digital in order to give access to more than 100 high definition channels for all its customers. However it was declared by Insight Cable that all customers shall have to purchase a mini converter box which shall allow them to view all high definition channels besides the local channels.
