KeyOn to buy Dynamic Broadband’s Internet service

OMAHA, Neb. — KeyOn Communications Holdings Inc. plans to buy wireless Internet service provider Dynamic Broadband Corp.

KeyOn provides wireless broadband, satellite video and voice over Internet protocol services. The Omaha-based company said Tuesday it will issue stock and assume Dynamic Broadband’s debt as part of the deal.

Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed, and KeyOn officials did not immediately return a call Tuesday.

KeyOn officials say Dynamic Broadband’s operations in Iowa and Minnesota are next to its existing Iowa service area, which will make integration easier. KeyOn will serve parts of 12 states after the deal closes in the second quarter of this year.

Dynamic Broadband is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
