GPS TrackerTrackstick II Personal Tracker is a small GPS tracker which records its own location, time, date, speed, heading and altitude at preset intervals. It comes with 1MB Flash memory and downloads the data through USB port. The data can be easily imported to Google Earth to and includes GPX photo stamping feature for adding photos to your maps.

Trackstick II looks pretty cool and can be like products from the same category used for explicit or covert surveillance of your teenage children or track your company vehicle.

The sale price of 175.97 (Amazon) is rather attractive compared with its competitors. California residents with get 8.3% tax added.

These devices receive their siganls from the twenty-four Department of Defense satellites orbiting the earth and can potentially be used anywhere.

GPS TrackerAn alternative is Tracking Key GPS. It is a small, pocket sized device that “accurately determines the location of the device within 2.5 meters” and records this data every second. It is priced at $225.

GPS TrackerTrackster II appears better featured at a better price. MightyGPS World Tracker is another alternative priced at $392. It is the smallest of the lot. It provides detailed reports including position speed and distance traveled

Live GPS TrackerHowever neither of them can actively transmit the data live. To do that you need to something like LiveWire real time GPS trackers.

Jeffrey,

The Trackstick and GPS Tracking Key are the two most popular passive units on the market. Although the reviews are pretty comparable, I prefer units with motion sensors since they extend battery life.

good review

I cannot get myself removed from the spam campaign promoting these products, so I will never do business with Telespial Systems.

Naast de Trackstick II heb je ook nog de Super Trackstick. Nog juist iets geavanceerder als het door jullie beschreven model. Zo kan deze laatste bv meerdere weken actief blijven! En de magnetiscge houder is ook best wel leuk :)
