hello anyone having similar problem on windows 7 use removeWAT.exe. just install it n then it will do the rest.its an excellent software to remove WGA validation for windows 7. |

If you have checked for WGA,and have found that your windows is not genuine ,just restore your computer to the time before you checked for WGA.Hope it will be helpful |

Hi, I'm Clarence i have a question regarding with the installation of windows 7. If I installed the window 7 Ultimate of my laptop aspire 4715z is "genuine". This Operation have a license. But my classmate brought my Windows 7 Operating System he installed in his laptop was not successful the window was "not genuine". What was the problem of this software? Thank for helping me. |

@jodie - I wish i found your message earlier. I skipped the message quite a few times and then it was installed by mistake (or perhaps automatically, i am not sure). Now i am going to use tool downloaded from a link here and hope it works. I will another comment if this tool works ok. |

I went through many processes to try and delete the Genuine Microsoft Software and nothing was working. I was running into the problem that it wouldn't let me delete because it was in use. If I tried to end it in my task manager, it would just open up again and again (as many times as I tried to end it) But I tried something that was easy and it worked great!!!! Here's what I did... 1. Start - C: Drive - Windows - System 32 & find the WGA files. One had a .dll extension on it which I changed to .old and the other was the program which I just added OLD to the name. 2. Then restart your computer. 3. Once rebooted, go back into the same folder you were just in and delete the files. 4. After that, do a search for any file or folder that contain WGA and delete all that comes up. 5. Empty trash when you are done and reboot one more time. Problem solved. It's gone from my system. I can't find it if I search for it and best of all, I don't get the notification or the pop up on my screen. |

Hi, I removed the notifications and all that, and of course when I switched on the computer the notifications weren't there, but when you know, the screen is loading and the screen is blue with WELCOME written on it, the genuine thing still comes there and there it still notify me to either resolve now or resolve later. But after its loaded and the display comes, the notification disappears. Please tell me a way to make the notifications disappear from the welcome page also! Please! |

I agree with jodie, I had not installed the wga update but the message to install the update was annoying and used to pop up whenever I rebooted, just adding on to that, once you say "I do not agree" it will ask you to cancel it then "cancel" it and it will not appear again |

Hello every1 after trawling the internet for hours trying to find a solution for my problem i came across this very easy 2 min solution. My problem being unlike all the coments on this page i had only downloaded the wga and not installed it so i kept getting the annoying message everytime i started my pc saying please install wga. So if there is any1 else who has the same problem all you have to do is when you start your comp and the pop up appears click next as if you are going to install it then when the terms and conditions screen appears click i dont agree then it will come up with another box sayng installation cancelled and wallah no more annoying pop up easy as that. |

Thank you so much for all the info you are providing. I wish I had found you before. Besides the thanks I am writing to tell you that perhaps it is a good idea to display the date of your article in a more visible way. Strangely enough it is very obvious once you see it. But trust me when I say there were 2 of us looking for it and it took quite a while to do so. Once things are obvious they remain obvious but before that, as in this case, not necessarily. So it may be obvious to you but... Just a thought. A little more, if I may. WHat our eyes did in searching is head where you would normally see it say in a letter or email. We looked up to the left and up to the right. Not seeing it there we went straight at the bottom. We then went back up and finally it was seen. Perhaps just olding will help, who knows? Sorry for being so long and Once again, thank you |
