Translator Plugin Pro 5.0 is a new release in many refreshing ways. One of the first thing you will notice is that the Translator options page have moved under Options menu.

I have started tweaking the layout of this blog. I have made some changes based on my perception of aesthetics and usefulness. For example I reduced the font of headlines, removed the divider of the main content section with the sidebar to make it look spacier and changed the post titles to a different distinctive color among other small changes. I am considering removing the recently discussed section and placing it in archives. I am also thinking about highlighting the most discussed section as a second box on the side of headlines. We have designed a new caching engine for Translator Plugin Pro 5.0 & Gold 1.0. Previously we used WordPress' Object Caching Engine (bundled with WordPress) which doesn't work so well in resource constrained sites. Also it doesn't serve our need to have semi-permanent cache for translated pages and provide infrastructure for Translator Pro & Gold moving forward.
