I have a micromax Q5fb cellphone. In that handset, there is an inbuilt gtalk with others like msn,etc. The settings show it as site - talk.google.com and port-5222. But I m not able to connect to google talk through it. The error msg shows - " unable to retrieve the token". Pl help me getting started with gtalk on my cellphone Cheers

I have been using q5 since from 4 months but its always giving me troubles with the profiles which means sometimes even I unplug head phones also it will be in head set profile which is not good so users dont buy this phone!!!!!!!!!!!its dam and useless

I just bought Micrx q5fb...for just Rs.3800 ! wow the phone is cool ! yu hv all the features tht you need ! internet works well ( use mini opera instead of default wap browser). yu can download j2me software for the phone n install it.I have install software like, pdf reader, mini microsoft word,mini microsoft excel,dictionary, games,so on....... even the phone looks cool... better than nokia Eseries ! all tis for just 3800 !

Review of Micomax Q5- It’s a pathetic low class Chinese phone, wrapped in Micomax cover. I recommend never even think of buying it, nor recommend anyone……. Hey guys, I am just here to help you…. Pls beware of Micromax Mobile... I hv never seen such a pathetic phone. I bought Micomax Q5 last month.. & now its trackball nt working..... I even cn’t unlock my phone because of this….. I really faced very hard time to find a service center...... all ph number in booklet/website is wrong…. I somehow managed to find service center …. whn i reach there were 2 ill-mannered & illiterate people out there who doesn't know how to talk to customer......... I feel like I came to gaffer market…. Pathetic & frustrating it was…… You need to delete each n every message individually, there is no option to delete several messages. Only one SIM works at a time No speaker volume- you cannot change the volume of speaker while talking… Trackball- From the very first day doesn’t work properly

The supplied Pc suit is not working, even i downloaded the software. I’m happy with the Mobile but it would be great if the PC suit worked. However, its worth what else you expect from Rs.4180/ I don’t have any complain regarding the mobile. Please update the PC suit if possible. If possible send to my e-mail id. please

We just tested with the Q5 Set for a fact that when a call is in answering on one SIM, the other caller from the second SIM gets the message that the user is OUT OF RANGE / NOT REACHABLE. I do not know if this is the existing problem with this set.

this is a totally worthless phone... the os is the same as in the chinese phones... doesnt support java apps or symbian apps. in fact it supports nothing at all. camera quality is sub par, video is ugly... the audio quality on the handsfree is quite good... apart from that this phone is not worth it. with a full qwerty key pad one would epect to be able to assign shortcuts to them but guess what? YOU CANT. everything you want has to accessed from the menus... over all score 2/10

Guys never go for this mobile and not from provika moblies I bought a Q2 mobile and the key pad stoped working after a week after which the charger port in the phone had some problem...... There is not proper service center.... And also these are not covered under the warranty only the Software covered ..... the reply which got from Provika mobiles.........

Hi Guys.. It took me only 1 hr to take out all the drawbacks, it is nt gud at all.. It has nothing in it as it is advertised.. Everything sucks.. Features: cam quality is poor, inbuilt Facebook sucks, inbuilt IM's r given to make us fool, WAP doesnt support anything, Width is too wide.. U cant zoom ur pics.. No option to delete lot of msgs at one go.. Interferrence is nt gud, luks like a toy..

hi, i bought this phone 20 days before every thing is fine but i disappointed with internet service because i want to use NOP (Net on Phone) Service through my Airtel sim but i m unable to use this. I had activated internet on my sim, I called up airtel customer care they said they are providing net on phone service only Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericcsion..problem with Micromax Q5 is it can not be load this service (unlimited browsing/surfing).. :( :( :( :( :(

I Bought it for Rs. 4000/- in Visakhapatnam. PDF file will work. U can use internet if u have the INTERNET SETTINGS of the service which ur using. U get opera mini, msn, facebook, yahoo, gtalk and ebuddy applictions installed with the phone. battery backup is about 2 days for my uses. 2MP came which can also be used as webcam if u connect it to ur sys. (need to download cam drivers for Windows 7 users it will not be a problem in getting them.) charging is mini USB pin. so nice to use. internal memory only 14MB and external upto 8GB.. I LOVE IT..

Excellent mobile, total value for money , good J2MEE operating system and can handle various java apps and games.Preloaded with Yahoo,GTalk ,Aim,windows and facebook messengers.Trackball is good make browsing good , Sound quality is excellent ,couldn't have asked it for more. BTW i got this phone for Rs 4,100 with additional 1GB memory card and with bill.At this price its a mind boggling deal.

This micromax Q5 is not windows based. It will be a total useless mobile if you are tying to view your email attachments like word/pdf/excel. I contacted their service station, but they said we can not download any software in q5 so that we can view these files. Far inferior to Nokia 61.
