GLENDORA (GaeaTimes.com)- In what can only be called a dream trade off, a teenager from California has landed a 2000 Porsche Boxster after starting off with an old cellphone given by a friend. 17 year old Steven Ortiz has become a hero on the web after news came out about his incredible feat. After a total of 14 trades on an online portal the teenager got the chance to cruise to college in a fancy Porsche that he exchanged for a 1975 Ford Bronco.
It all started for Steven Ortiz with an old cellphone given by a friend. He swapped it on the web for a better cellphone which in turn fetched an iPod Touch. The Apple product somehow fetched a dirt bike that was further exchanged for a number a other dirt bikes. The dirt bikes led to a MacBook Pro. The high end Apple laptop turned out as valuable to someone else as a car and Steven Ortiz found himself a 1987 Toyota 4Runner. Being too young to drive, the 15 year old swapped the car for a golf cart. The golf cart led to another dirt bike and then it was traded up for a street bike. The more expensive street bike turned out to be worth a car and soon the teenager started trading in cars. After a series of 4 wheelers he found himself a 1975 Ford Bronco.
A few months of riding the 1975 Ford Bronco seemed to have bored the young trade expert. He decided to put it up as well and soon found something flashy and young. The 2000 Ford Boxster, worth $9000 might have been a trade down from the 1975 Ford Bronco which became a collectible, but is sure worth noting that it all started with an old cellphone worth almost junk.
