My cellphone adapter would accassionally refuse to recharge. I tried nudging and pushing, checking if something is loose. Some days it would suddenly start working. Today wasn't one of those days. The adapter remained as dead as dodo. And yet it was definitely heating up. I needed my mobile urgently and there wasn't much time to buy a new one. So I had to hack it.
