The wireless network CDMA is used by the companies like Verizon and Sprint. But, AT & T and most of the global carriers use GSM technology. AT&T has over 43% smart-phone customers in US, compared with 23% customers for Verizon. Additionally, Apple plans to bring a new version of its current iPhone this summer. The model is expected to be thinner and have a faster processor, two people familiar with the device said.
