Accenture laying off some 336 executives
NEW YORK — Business consultant and outsourcing company Accenture says it will cut some 336 senior-level executive positions as part of a broad-based restructuring effort.
The layoffs total about 7 percent of Accenture Ltd.’s 4,800 senior executives.
The Bermuda-based company says it also aims to reduce “excess real estate capacity.”
Accenture expects to book a $247 million pretax charge against fourth-quarter earnings on the moves, including about $119 million related to the real estate cuts.
