SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- All the game addicts are in for a treat as the demo version of the one of the year’s hottest games Aliens vs. Predator (AVP) has been released. The demo version of the game has been simultaneously released on Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network as well as Steam. The multi-player demo version of the Aliens vs. Predator would give gamers the opportunity to enact the roles of few legendary characters such as a Colonial Marine, an Alien or a Predator. The science fiction first-person-shooter takes into account the war between two species as well as human Marines.

Anticipation has been running immensely high regarding the new sci-fi shooter Aliens vs. Predator as it would feature seven different multiplayer gameplay modes which would include Death Match, Survivor, Domination, Infestation, Predator Hunt, Species Deathmatch and Mixed Species Deathmatch. While taking about the much anticipated game, Sean Ratcliffe, VP of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc., which is distributing the new AVP has reiterated that all the first-person-shooter fans would get the chance to encounter a completely different gaming experience with the new Aliens vs Predator.

At the same time, Jason Kinglsey, the CEO of Rebellion, which developed the game, has emphasized that multiplayer formed a distinct part of the original AVP game that was created way back in 1999. He further adds that while creating the new multiplayer version the spirit of the original experience was kept in mind.

Meanwhile, the new Aliens vs. Predator is scheduled to be launched on February 16 in North America and it would subsequently be available in Europe from February 19. However, as of now, the gamers would have to be satisfied with the multiplayer demo version that is available.
