MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The leading carmakers of the world are eyeing the Indian market and they are not planning to invade the small car market only. While the majority of the car market is dominated by compact cars, the demand of super luxury sedans are slowly picking up in India, mainly in the Metropolitan cities. British luxury carmaker Bentley Motors has a plan to launch its Mulsanne super luxury saloon in the Indian market. It is already available in a number of countries.

Bentley has plans to make the car commercially available in India by the end of this year. The model is highly customizable and in India its price tag is supposed to be around 3.5 crore INR. The millionaires who have enough money to splurge on luxurious 4 wheelers will like its combination of features and awesome performance. The twin turbo V8 engine in the Mulsanne is seriously powerful and ensures smooth drive on all terrains. In India its main competitor will be those from the stables of Mercedes and BMW.

The Bentley Mulsanne is much sought after in the USA and 5000 models were sold last year globally, as per the company data. Apart from India, the company aims to grab a share of the car market in China and other Asian countries. The car looks truly spectacular and it is likely to be picked up by billionaires and uber-rich lot in India.
