SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- College ACB is the newest website to have joined the horde of others hat have spawned in recent times. Like every one of these, the website promotes itself as one of those platforms of free speech, that is, one where students of various colleges can come and post their comments. Their comments can be regarding any topic, that is, they can vent their anger about anything, and they can also say something about their fellow students. The website promotes itself as a platform that allows the students to speak openly and freely about any taboo topic. However, the website is facing the inevitable comparison with some of the other more famous similar websites. College ACB, therefore, strives to ensure that it is treated differently from those.

In order to achieve that aim, College ACB has added some user friendly features that are not present in the other websites. For example, there is a blog page. On the other hand, the users can also monitor the posts, and can report and delete any that may seem offensive. Moreover, all those who write their posts can do so anonymously.

However, all those precautionary measures have done nothing much for the image of the website. For there is a large chunk of the college going community who claim that College ACB is nothing but a platform for students to speak against their peers. A student, refusing to be named, claimed that girls are left crying owing to the posts made in their names. It remains to be seen whether College ACB can actually become what it calls itself, a platform of thought provoking discussions.
