MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Tata Motors is currently running on hot wheels. Almost hand in hand with its declaration that it will be launching the Tata Nano in the United States and the European countries, comes a great news for the company. The cars that have hit the roads from the stables of one of the biggest auto manufacturing companies in the world in recent times have been doing particularly well, translating in a huge number of sales for the company. All the success and the rising sales graph- of course helped along by the fact that the recession is not that much being felt and the cars are more or less economical- has resulted in Tata Motors reclaiming the No. 2 position.
The reclaiming of the No. 2 position by Tata Motors has been helped along immensely by the success of two of the new models introduced by the company. One is the Vista, another addition in the already wildly successful Indica range, which has recorded sales of 11,488 units. On the other hand, the Tata Nano also has been doing really well, with about 4001 units being sold. The success story continues with the sky high sales of the car that was the latest to be launched, the Indigo Manza, which recorded sales of 7258 units in January alone.
According to one of the officials in the company, the reclaiming of the No. 2 position by Tata Motors has been particularly helped along by the sales of the 7258 units in January of the Indigo Manza. The increase in the sales are being attributed to the improved quality, making the sales in January the highest ever for the company.
