Maker Faire-Ford Motors Deal

SAN MATEO (GaeaTimes.com)- Maker Faire has entered into a partnership with Ford Motors as the car maker company joins the DIY (Do It Yourself) team. As a matter of fact, it’s the DIY spirit that sets the mood right for the Maker Faire. The festival happens to be the world’s largest DIY festival that welcomes all creative minds that ranges from artists, engineers, hackers and programmers.

Ford Motors is one of the very first in the business to have actually embarked upon “Automotive 2.0″ alongside “American Journey 2.0″ and is looking high on spirits as they talk about innovation in the near future. As for Ford, it has declared the deal with Maker Faire Bay Area 2010 which aims at developing the car of the future. Reportedly, Maker Faire shall also have attendees from Silicon Valley. Sherry Huss who happens to be the director of Maker Faire praised Ford Motors in high terms and said that there hasn’t been a greater collaborator and partner as that of Ford. They look forward to bring out the very best of Maker Faire 2010 which shall be a rewarding moment for both Ford as well as for Maker Faire.
