NEW DELHI, INDIA (Gaeatimes.com)- The Auto Expo which is being held in New Delhi is hogging the attention of the media and car lovers. This is an event the car companies wait for. Maruti Suzuki which is the largest carmaker in India has launched a number of models at the 2010 Auto Expo. The Eeco is a multi purpose vehicle which is likely to find favor with midsized families and business owners alike. It has been aggressively priced in the range of 2.5 to 2.9 lakh.
Maruti new car Eeco MPV can pose serious threat to competitors like Mahindra and Toyota Kirloskar motors after it is launched in India. Maruti has built this model as a successor to the Versa model which met with a lukewarm resp0nse from the buyers despite being economical. However, the industry experts think that the Maruti Eeco has the potential to become a favorite among the car buyers. The customers will have the choice to buy either the 5 seater or the 7 seater version.
Maruti new car Eeco MPV will be launched this year. It is available only in a petrol version as of now. Later the company may introduce a diesel model. After Eeco, Maruti Suzuki will set its focus on a sedan named Kizashi.
