NEW YORK, (GaeaTimes.com)- Mobile Marketing Association and their research studies have declared that all applications based upon mobile location have failed to gain mass popularity. In today’s world, where social networking is ruling the roost of the domain, mobile location based services were found to be employed by only a handful of people in American states.
The experts are of the opinion that many people in the American states have not yet taken up a smartphone and hence as an obvious consequence they are not being able to make use of the mobile location based applications. Reportedly, the mobile location based services and the applications are true to smartphones only. The Mobile Consumer Briefing survey by Mobile Marketing Association has confirmed that only 10 percent people are actually making use of the mobile location based application in their smart phone devices. As matter of fact, the highest number of people who makes use of the mobile location based services were found to be using i Phone as a common gadget for one and all as compared to other smartphones available in the market.
Mobile Marketing Association Industry Initiatives and Partnerships director Kristine van Dillen is of the opinion that the mobile location based applications are always at a threat of accessing and using the data of the smartphone user. This has been a major security concern for one and all who have restrained themselves from making use of the mobile location based services. The mobile location based applications and the services makes abundant use of the data quoted with geo-location tags which has been a potent medium of data transmission for all commercial users. The director hopes that soon the condition shall revive itself and all consumers would find better way to use mobile location services and applications for one and all.
