Nokia C3 Awaiting Release

NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- In a bid to woo the cell phone users who are addicted to extensive messaging and social networking, Nokia has released three affordable and feature-rich handsets in the market of late. The new Nokia C3, E5 and C6 handsets are trendy and come with instant access social networking applications. They also offer full QWERTY keypad and instant messaging applications. Earlier Nokia had very few phones that were focused towards messaging and social networking and the E71 and E62 were mainly targeted towards business users.
The Nokia C3 has 3G which means the users will be able to access web and download data at blazing fast speed. This is the first S40 OS based phone from Nokia that features a full QWERTY keypad. It also has a standard 2MP camera that records video. The phone has 55 MB on-board memory. For wireless connectivity it has WiFi and Bluetooth. It supports external memory card up to 8GB. The handset will be available in attractive colors like hot pink, slate gray and golden white. The price of the handset has not yet been finalized. It will be released in the European and Asian markets in the near future.
The Nokia C3 and C6 has identical features, with the latter sporting some extra and enhanced features. The C6 has a powerful 5MP camera. It also has a VGA camera for video calling. With these handsets Nokia aims to counter the social networking oriented handsets released by the rivals like LG and Samsung. They will be sold in the second quarter of the year.
