Developer of early personal computer dies in Ga.
ATLANTA - Dr. Henry Edward Roberts, the developer of an early personal computer that inspired Bill Gates to found Microsoft, died Thursday in Georgia.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The federal government is investing more than $32 million in stimulus funds to help the nation's largest American Indian reservation, the Navajo Nation, build a high-speed Internet highway that will connect thousands of homes and businesses across the sprawling reservation.
Japan, New Mexico collaborate on smart grid tech
SANTA FE, N.M. - Two national laboratories, the state of New Mexico and a Japanese agency are developing smart grid technology to give homeowners and businesses more access to renewable energy sources by controlling the supply and demand of electric power.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Communities in eastern New Mexico and West Texas will see expanded broadband Internet access thanks to an investment of more than $11 million by the federal government.
