Accenture buys French industrial consultant

NEW YORK — Consulting and outsourcing company Accenture PLC on Tuesday said it acquired French industrial consulting firm Acceria.

Terms of the deal, which includes Acceria’s staff and assets, were not disclosed. The deal is aimed at building up Accenture’s services to automotive and industrial manufacturers.

Acceria, based in Paris, specializes in examining the after-sales operations of industrial companies.

In midday trading, Accenture shares added 22 cents to $39.95.
