CBI conference on cyber crime today

NEW DELHI - The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will organise a one-day conference on cyber crime here today.
Organized in association with Council of Europe, the conference will hold deliberations on cyber crime threats and trends, International cooperation against cyber crime, and Law enforcement.
The meeting aims to enhance the knowledge of law enforcement agencies in fighting cyber crime and improving international police cooperation against such crime.
The conference also assumes significance in the wake of the growing dependence on computer and Internet connectivity in modern day life.
Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar will open the conference that will see participation of senior police officers from all states, Union Territories, other law enforcement agencies, forensic labs, research organisations, Internet service providers and other stake holders. (ANI)
