Are you really annoyed with Windows Instant Messenger popping up every time you log into your internet? And if you have used Windows, then you know that unnecessary, unwanted, unacceptable- such terms are nothing but a sheer waste o time. Because you are made to toil for almost every good thing you do from Windows XP. So how do you remove Windows Instant messenger anyway? Here is a simple tip.
Tip
- Go to START, Click RUN
- Copy and paste the following: RunDll32 advpack.dll, LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf, BLC.Remove

I wonder if this works with Live Messenger? If you want to use MSN/Live Messenger from time to time but don’t want the delay it causes when booting up… you can run msconfig / start and uncheck it .. or run a program I love calles SystemMonitor… and just say no when it tries to set itself up to loade at bootup. |
