Research indicates waist circumference is the strongest indicator of type 2 diabetes risk in men

According to the team, as waist circumference increased, so did the risk of developing diabetes, with the risk in men with the highest waist circumference (up to 158 centimeters) increasing by 12-fold, they report.

“Our findings support the contention that the measurement of waist circumference should be used in clinical practice instead of waist-to-hip ratio,” the investigators write.

The study findings also suggest that the currently recommended cutoff for high waist circumference of 102 cm (40 inches) for men may need to be lowered to 95 cm.

Misguided and misinformed that is all you can come up with, huh? I am atleast offering a solution to the cause. You my friend are simply critiqueing on a subject you know little about. Therefore, take a hike, go back to college and take the english 100 class. This will do you a world of good. Oh By the way my research is factual information from certified nutritionists and Homeopathic doctors. There is nothing more ignorant in a person whom can harshly critique another person but does not have the capability of generating an incitefulk approach to the solution we are discussing. You my friend are the true charlatan, look at yourself in the mirror
and repeat these words. I will not mirror my own personality on other people. I will study and research what this person has to say. Then and only then will I be a judgemental jack ass and infer that this person is wrong with their assumption. Say these words when you wake up and when you go to sleep. I guarantee one day you will be the person you truly want to be, till then keep wearing the mask, that is disabling you tto be a functional human.

While in general I agree that there are lots of illness that can be affected or even cured by a better lifetsyle, there are lots that need medical attention.

It looks like I am under the attack of Christian fundamentalists :)

This is the second comment today espousing the value of “Christ”.

For the second time today, I do not “believe” in Christ, nor will I ever. I do however believe that he was a decent man in his age (if he really existed). Nor do I believe in any religion which trys to convert by making people afraid of “sins” and “eternal damnation”. I care for neither hell nor heaven.

You preach on heath topics prescribing herbals like aloe vera etc. You do not appear to be an authority on such topics. A lot of so-called health and nutritional substances are outright dangerous and definitely not suitable for everyone. For example Noni juice and Milk of thistle can be life threatening for post-transplant patients.

Any scientific discipline makes mistakes on its way to truth. However I would rather have faith in a scientific discipline than in any Joe Smith charlatan who is speaking from his arse.

> Their are studies that suggest that the human body heals itself during these hours. Something to do with the earth, moon and the sun.

Show me the studies which refer to earth, moon and sun wrt. curing our bodies. You are, my friend, misguided and misinformed. Please seek help.
