Rumor: The Fake IPL Player is Caught Finally

While the cricket world is buzzing in the speculation of what the Fake IPL player will reveal next (if you still haven’t read about it, go to the fakeiplplayer’s blog or read what The Guardian has to say about the story), there is an anonymous comment that the Fake IPL Player may have been caught and being sent back to India. As the latest post came into the blog, there is a comment saying

Sorry! Guys The Team Caught me!

I am sorry to have hurt all the team players by calling them by names. I am also truly sorry for weaving imaginative stories about a good team.

By the time you read this i am on my way back to india

Reasons to think its True

While this can be a fake faking over a fake profile too, there are couple of things to consider before we dismiss it.

  1. The language and style has a strange similarity to what the protagonist uses in the blog post.
  2. He may have been asked by the team management to delete the profile then and there so that he can’t write anymore there, pushing further trouble into it. It makes sense for them to ask him to do that, no?
  3. What will be the motif of anyone else to just comment like that which can be rubbish-ed by the actual person anytime.

Reasons to think its Fake

There is a very subtly technical aspect that says he can be a fake person as well.

Look at the link to his name and the URL. Apparently its the same as IPL Anonymous and of the same blog URL. But that can actually fox a noob.

Look closely, if you know about blogspot.com, you will realize that someone who is posting  a comment from his account will have a glowing 32 icon right at the left and the URL will be of the blogger profile of that person, not the URL of the PAGE ITSELF.

It can very easily be faked.

  1. Go to Post a Comment option
  2. Click through Comment as: Select profile
  3. You will see a option as Name/URL
  4. There you can post anything you like, say, IPL Anonymous as the name and https://fakeiplplayer.blogspot.com as the URL and save and post a comment. Bingo, it will be like the same as the person posted.
  5. We tried one ourselves too. Look what we did

So though its not as if, we are trying to speculate anything, but it may just be the case that the sorry end of the Fake IPL player is happening. We will have to wait only a few hours to know the truth of the news. Stay hooked!

If this is true that there was fake IPL player and i have heard this news from this blog. It seems that this year so many controversies were attached to IPL. I must say bad year for IPL.

Guys,

This fake IPL player is none other than one of Mr. Lordies’ (aka Saurav Ganguly) payed journalist. Lordie has made quite a few journo friends and he uses them to achieve all the objectives which he cant for e.g. he cant score and he is one of the worst players but his journo friends (who obviously get special treament by him) will try to keep up his image. This blog has been created to divert attention from Lordies pathetic performance and to indirectly criticize Dildo aka shahrukh’s decision to remove him from the post of captain. Let me clarify that I dont like Dildo myself and this is one of the best description of him but what I hate more is this kind of journos who get paid by some people (read saurav) to achieve their lowly objectives. Actually these kind of people are blot to the nation and are one of the reason why our country is in such a mess. (Our politicians are corrupt, beureucrats and administration are corrupt, we cannot trust our judiciary and now we have a corrupt media which eats out of hand of all these corrupt guys.)
Now the reason for this observation are outlined below:
1. He doesnot criticize saurav ganguly. Infact hes given him the name of Lordie which is not derogatory the way he has renamed some of the players. this implies that he is very close to saurav ganguly.
2. this guy is giving regualar updates which any IPL player will not be able to do. In all probability part of the information is provided by Lordie himself and part of other information can be easily obtained from journos proximity to team.) also he is very active administrator removing all the blogs which can reveal his identity or all the comments which badmouth about him. any ipl player will not get time to give such details or be such an active participant on the blog.

If you notice all postings after this date doesn’t reveal any special details that any reporter wouldn’t know. There is no inside storied per se, most of it you already get in newspapers. Also when this comment was posted it was not known publicly that someone was being sent home. I think the Fake IPL player was really caught and sent home along with another redundant player simply because so people cannot pinpoint it as the cause. Also it is apparent that a media person is involved and was ghostwriting for Fake IPL player, who is now continuing to give the false impression that he still exists.

I went through all his blogs today. Now I really don’t know if he is actually a player or just someone trying to gain some cheap publicity, and am not in a position to guess too.. (im really bad at making guesses). But there is one thing for sure,he may be a very bad cricketer but could become a very good writer someday.

The guy has all the qualities of a good author.
He has a sence of humour, keeps to the topic, can create imaginary characters for existing once, and the best thing he has a great topic, that can keep readers glued. I think even if he is a player and the team finds him out and kicks him out of the team, an alternate career is ready for the guy.

Well, he hasnt posted for quite sometime and I really wish everything is good at his end cause Im really interested in reading the stuff. Plus he also gives me something to blog about.
