Sayonara for Harry Potter?

It would be interesting to read the final episode in the Harry Potter saga, if not for anything but the morbid curiosity of young Harry’s fate. In many ways I am happy that it ends here.

I have reservations about the darkness of the latest Harry Potter books and its suitability for the young mind. The initial magic of Harry’s world has worn of only to be replaced by a bickering and fighting replica of our real world, only more grim.

In retrospect Harry Potter books may have led to renewed interest in books with children. It is also quite popular among young adults. Everyone dreams of a land above and beyond the restraints of our daily existence, Harry provided that outlet.

I think it would be a perfect closure to end Harry’s existence with the last book as she originally intended. Let’s also end the sad existence of “Voldy the Baldy”. I know I am tired of him and the illogicality behind his existence. With Harry’s end we would not have to go through with sequels either in movie or in books. But then even Sherlock Holmes was resurrected after his death at Reichenbach falls, so you never know.

Tunnels seems to be another good book from the same genre. Have you read it?

I think Harry Potter has turned from being a children’s book to a teenage/adult book as the character Harry has grown.

J.K Rowling’s version of the villain Lord Voldemort is a very realistic description of a callous killer. People who think of themselves as indestructible often overlook things and the way the character Lord Voldemort is oblivious to matters of love makes perfect sense as he has never loved or been loved.

I agree with you in every aspect but u must understand their had to be a little base-ness in voldemort’s personality and/or intelligence or else he would be an omnicient type of villain that would never be defeated

Thanks for the referral to another book i need a new series to follow now that J K Rowling is done with this one (maybe?).
