Can you please help me? I love your plug in that used to work beautifully on my website and now it doesn't. I've deactivated all plugins except yours to no avail. I'm willing to pay for your time :( Karen x |

Thanks for this excellent plugin. I have been using it for about a year now and am very happy with it. Strangely, the plugin has stopped working on the above site, only in Chrome. It works in IE and Opera. Even on Chrome, it works on other blogs. Could there be interference from some other source? I would appreciate any help. thanks a lot. Subhash |

Hello there, For some strange reason your plug in has started to include two play controls instead of one. You can see what I mean looking at the front post of my website. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Can you help fathom why this would be happening? Karen x |

Hi Angsuman, First of all, thanks very much for the great plugin. Just one question: I see that while it works perfectly on some themes (say for example the "Dusk" theme that I have on my blog at the moment) when I try change themes (for example, to the "Tapestry" Wordpress theme), then for some reason, the "play" icon does not align with the mp3... sometimes it's quite a few lines below or above, or to the right of it etc... any ideas what could be causing this, or how I could go about combatting this problem? |
January 27, 2008: 5:25 am
Yes, it works in Spanish too, if that is what you mean. |

December 6, 2007: 12:11 am
How do I swap the small player image for something larger? I'd like the player image to be more apparent to click. |
September 12, 2007: 10:51 am
This player is perfection. Thanks! I'm writing to ask if there is a way to change the play/stop buttons colors? Thanks again. |
September 11, 2007: 11:39 am
Sure, Just provide links to mp3 files in your sidebar and you are done. |
September 10, 2007: 11:44 am
Is there a way to play files from the sidebar using this plugin and NO widgets? |
August 28, 2007: 9:04 pm
Tony: No. Caroline: You don't need it. Just provide a (normal) link to a mp3 file on your blog and auto-magically there will be a button to play it. Isn't that simple? |
Caroline |

Is it possible to put the play button on the right side instead of left? And make it show up automatically (on my site, you have to mouseover the link before seeing it)? |

February 21, 2007: 11:39 am

February 21, 2007: 10:16 am
Tod, The problem you are having is related to the permissions on your own folder. Most likely you need to remove/edit .htaccess in that directory. The problem has nothing to do with the plugin. I can bet that you will have the same problem trying to directly access the file from anywhere. |
February 21, 2007: 12:04 am
Okay, the real problem I'm having is simply accessing mp3 files hosted on my server in my worpress audio folder. This works GREAT outside of this location. How to link to my own folders? |
February 20, 2007: 7:39 pm
Great plugin. I've an issue, likely something really simple: All is well until I/someone tries to play the mp3 file. Then a password is requested to access my ftp file (mp3). It's coming from Wordpress. . . any thoughts? |
January 24, 2007: 10:12 pm
I'll definitely gonna try this one. Does your plugin support wav files too? |
January 20, 2007: 2:42 am
Thanks for the plugin! Bookmarked it now and will add it to my blog soon :) |

Thanks, it is exactly what I was looking for. Finally I found a solution to an idea I had. Easy anf effective. Thanks again! Good work! |
January 4, 2007: 10:19 am
I went to bed. I woke up this morning and started over. Now it is working. Just as promised, I'm overjoyed! Sorry I'm a bonehead. The solution was to put the Mp3 in my public html file. come by My Robot Is Pregnant and check out my audio! Thanks for the plugin! |
January 3, 2007: 11:44 pm
I see why I had four play buttons, I forgot to close my tag. Now I have one blue button and the loading sign, but nothing ever plays. Any ideas? I took a song from garage band, put it in Itunes, and turned it into an mp3 in Itunes. Then I saved it to my desktop, and uploaded it to my site from there. Itunes seems to export things as a music.txt file, so perhaps it isn't actually reading it as an mp3. If that's the problem, how to I get it to be an mp3 file? thanks again. jon |
January 3, 2007: 11:32 pm
I am having a bit of trouble, I uploaded my mp3 to my website, and when i link to that in my wordpress blog page, the published result is four blue play buttons spread out in the post, and clicking on any one of them gives me a loading message, but nothing ever plays. I don't have multiple links in the post, so why do i have multiple play buttons? Should I be uploading the file to a certain place in my website? an audio file or something? Thanks for your help, once we get this rolling I'm going to be overjoyed! |

It works fine within categories. The problem appears to be in your jakarta theme. It appears it is converting the post articles to plain text in category view. On the other hand if you go to individual post pages like https://www.tanglewoodcofc.org/wordpress/?p=43 then it works fine. |

I've been using the plugin for several months, and was absolutely delighted with it. Last night, I uploaded a new MP3, and it refuses to play it. It's encoded at 44100, so it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for sharing your mp3 player, it's a nicely versatile way to go about it. Someone asked about hiding the mp3 link. In go, after selecting for the mp3 extension, I just added o.style.display = 'none'
which hides the link. Then I got to hacking around in the rest of your script and plugged in the Flash WP Audio Player. If u don't mind my using your script (with linked acknowledgments of course) I'd like to write my hack into some of the websites I'm currently building. Got this working easily and it works great. One thing's weird: on my site the play button sits up high, sorta above the text. Kinda like it's top-justified. On your site and on del.icio.us the arrows point right at the text in-line, which looks much nicer. Any thoughts how I can corral my little arrows? @Tom Can you see the play button in my blog? If so, then it must be a path problem. It requires full URL of the mp3 file. If not... :) |

Angsuman, I have Flash enabled but the play button is still not displaying - probably an issue with the path to the images. |

@MJ Can you show me the link? |
February 14, 2006: 2:18 pm
I have installed it & all...however when I go to play the song it zips through it. Do I need to slow something down? How do I go about that? |
February 14, 2006: 11:00 am
@Tom All you get is a blue play button on the left of the link. When you click on it, it starts playing; the button become a red square (intended to stop playing on clicking) and you also get a del-icio.us tag this link, which allows you to easily tag the music. BTW: Do you have Flash on your browser? It does require Flash enabled. |

Angsuman - I'm obviously missing something here. The demo you have linked to on the first page doesn't appear to have play controls. Also, I uploaded this to a WP 2.01 site and again no controls after it was activated. The mp3 files are referenced by full uri. Tom |
