Two arrested in New Delhi’s BPO rape case

NEW DELHI - Delhi Police on Thursday arrested two of the four men accused in the rape of a woman working in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) in New Delhi.
Interacting with mediapersons, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Delhi) H. G. S. Dhaliwal, said the vehicle used was also recovered.
“Two accused involved in Dhaula Kuan incident have been arrested and we have recovered the vehicle which was used by the accused in the crime. We have discussed other details of the incident with them, but we cannot disclose them,” said Dhaliwal.
On November 24, a 30-year-old woman from Mizoram was abducted by four men and gang-raped in a moving goods carrier.
She was abducted soon after being dropped along with another colleague girl, 100 metres from her home in Dhaula Kuan area late in the night.
On November 26, police released a sketch of one of the accused based on CCTV footage of the four accused and by questioning the victim’s friend. (ANI)
