KOLKATA, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- May 17 is World Telecom Day which hold immense importance for the telecom industry which has been one of the most profitable industries of the decade. Moving on the same line, Kolkata’s Heritage Institute of Technology is putting up a special program to observe the World Telecom Day.

Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) has joined in hands with BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) to make World Telecom Day program a grand success. The program shall have interactive discussion sessions which will be attended by eminent and influential people of the Telecom Industry. They include Calcutta Telephones General Manager S K Bhaduri, Emeritus Professor of Heritage Institute of Technology Anutosh Chatterjee and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Telecom head Kasturi Bhattacharya. Along with them the World Telecom Day program shall also see the presence of notable guests like Brainware Chief Managing Director Phalguni Mukherjee, along with Heritage Institute of Technology Executive Director Probir Roy and the Chairman of PRSI Kolkata Chapter NR Mukherjee.

Heritage Group of Institution’s Chief Executive Officer P K Agarwal is the brain behind the World Telecom Day Program. In his opinion, Telecom is seemingly the only sector which has given a scope to mankind to think beyond the realms of conventional setup and ideas. The director believes that Telecom has gone ahead to have linked one and all to a world of unprecedented possibilities which has in a way helped one and all to upgrade theirown selves. The World Telecom Day program seeks to incorporate the basic elements of educational philosophy which Heritage regards to be one solid medium that has the potential to help one and all in the telecom sector. The World Telecom Day starts at 5 pm in the seminar hall of Heritage Institute Of Technology.
