Airtel Network- Most Popular, Most Call Drops, says TRAI

If Airtel users ever had a complaint (I am sure there are some) about network failure or poor connectivity in tele-communication, here is one reason. According to TRAI, Airltel is the most congested telecom network. I donno if you can boast of it if you are an Airtel subscriber. We are one. We use its high speed unlimited broadband plans and use airtel SIMs too. But certainly this means,- okay we are with the most popular telecom network, how cool. Now what’s next? Vodafone is a close second by the way.

As per the analysis by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for the period under review, Airtel had 14 congested (POI) - the geographical location where two networks interconnect and exchange traffic. Against this, Vodafone had 12 POIs, followed by Reliance Communications and Idea with 11 each, and Dishnet Wireless with eight. Proving my earlier assumption right, Trai confirms that Airtel also tops the list of call drop as well. So something they better look into before celebrating.
