NEW YORK — The following stocks were among those that moved substantially or traded heavily Monday on the New York Stock Exchange:

Coach Inc., up $1.17 at $32.25
Coach is suing low-price retailer Target Corp. over bags the luxury handbag maker says too closely resemble its own designs.
RPM International Inc., down 8 cents at $18
The coatings and sealants makerexpense cuts.
Bank of America Corp., up 62 cents at $16.96
The bank reportedly plans to select an emergency CEO this week in case Ken Lewis steps down before the end of the year.
Dow Chemical Co., up $1.24 at $24.87
An analyst said the chemical manufacturing giant’s electronics business has improved and the coatings business has stabilized.
Plantronics Inc., up $2.16 at $26.93
An analyst upgraded the headset maker
NASDAQ:
Mellanox Technologies Ltd., up 99 cents at $17.14
The chip designer, which will report third-quarter results on Oct. 21, raised its projections for sales, gross margin and expenses.
MKS Instruments Inc., up 33 cents at $19.10
The company raised its third-quarter earnings and revenue guidance and said chip sales and equipment utilization rates are climbing.
PetSmart Inc., up 79 cents at $21.63
An analyst upgraded the pet food and products retailer, saying the company will likely benefit when discretionary spending picks up.
