Computer Services 1Q earnings climb 7 percent
PADUCAH, Ky. — Computer Services Inc. said Wednesday its most recently quarterly earnings jumped 7 percent, helped by growing revenue and a recent acquisition.
The company, which provides information technology services for financial institutions, said growth came from both its core business and its recent acquisition of Myriad Systems Inc., a company that provides print and mail services.
Computer Services said its net income grew to $5.3 million, or 36 cents per share, for the fiscal first quarter ended May 31. That’s up from $5 million, or 33 cents per share, a year ago.
Revenue climbed 8 percent to $39.7 million from $36.8 million.
