HYDERABAD - A court here Tuesday reserved till Wednesday its decision on the bail plea of Satyam Computer’s disgraced founder B. Ramalinga Raju, his brother B. Rama Raju and the company’s former chief financial officer Vadlamani Srinivas.

The court will also rule Wednesday on the Andhra Pradesh police plea for the custody of Gopalakrishna Raju, former general manager of SRSR Advisory Services, floated by Ramalinga Raju to manage the family’s stake in Satyam.

Prosecution opposed bail to the Rajus and Srinivas, alleging that Gopalakrishna Raju was tampering with evidence.

‘If this can be done while in custody, there is no guarantee that evidence will not be tampered with when they are on bail,’ the prosecutors said.

Lawyers of Rajus and Srinivas contested the prosecution’s charge that evidence was being tampered with, saying all documents have been seized by the investigating agencies, which ruled out tampering with evidence.

They submitted that all three have been cooperating with investigating agencies and will continue to do so while on bail.
