HYDERABAD - Mendu Rammohan Rao, dean of the prestigious International School of Business (ISB) here, Thursday resigned from his position in the wake of the financial fraud at Satyam Computers. He was a member of the Satyam board when the irregularities were committed.
Rao was an independent director of Satyam Computers. He quit the board Dec 29, about two weeks after Satyam’s aborted bid to buy two firms, Maytas Properties and Maytas Infra, promoted by the two sons of now disgraced Satyam founder chairman B. Ramalinga Raju.
‘Yes. He has resigned,’ Bhuvana Ramalingam, ISB communications manager, said.
