BANGALORE - IT infrastructure solutions and services firm Frontier Business Systems has set up a $4-million (Rs.200 million/Rs.20 crore) green data centre here to expand its operations across the country, the company said Thursday.

‘The data centre’s green virtualisation solutions will enable enterprises to reduce cost while improving business service availability, agility and performance,’ Frontier chief executive Ravi Verdes said in a statement.

‘We have added virtualisation consulting solutions and services across servers, storage and network application platforms,’ Verdes said.

The company has set a target of Rs.4 billion (Rs.400 crore) by fiscal 2011.

With a network of 10 offices across India and technology partners such as IBM, VMware and Cisco, customers like BHEL, Thompson-Reuters, Accenture, Alcatel-Lucent and ABB, Frontier is on an accelerated growth path, the statement added.
