Massive web trawl nets spammers

A ‘comprehensive’ sweep of the net by 70 law enforcement organisations from 26 countries should help authorities combat phishers, spammers and scammers, says a leading consumer protection agency.

It sounds too good to be true and effective. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

The surprising part of the news is at the end:

According to recent estimates, spam accounts for more than seven in ten of all emails sent via the net. Which is not nice.
