The drugstore operator said it narrowed its fiscal first-quarter loss by closing stores and trimming costs.

The grocery-store chain said its first-quarter earnings were hurt by the weak economy and warned earnings will miss expectations.
Wright Express Corp., down $2.89 at $22.55
An analyst downgraded the payment processor on concerns about the implications new banking regulations could have for the company.
