PATNA - Maoists have killed four Special Auxiliary Police (SAP) personnel and two Bihar police inspectors in a landmine explosion in Bihar’s Sheohar District, two days after the State went to polls to elect a new assembly.

The explosion took place near the Shaympur Bhitta Police Station area of the district late on Friday night.

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had on Friday termed Naxalism as a grave threat to national security and asserted that the Indian state cannot and would not allow its authority to be challenged. (ANI)
