Summary Box: Heart group backs video games
THE PARTNERSHIP: The American Heart Association and Nintendo Co. have forged an unlikely alliance. The health advocacy group is endorsing Nintendo’s popular Wii products.
CONCESSION: The AHA would like to see more traditional exercise but concedes its campaign to promote it hasn’t been working.
BETTER THAN NOTHING: The group believes the Wii will encourage sedentary Americans to take the first step toward fitness.
