ContactThem Network Perfects Distributed Spamming

I have received dozens of spams from ContactThem Network affiliates who follow this simple template:
Hi,
We’ve seen your website at https://blog.taragana.com/ [Full URL here]
and we love it!We see that your traffic rank is [######]
and your link popularity is [##].
Also, you have been online since [#/#/####].With that kind of traffic, we will pay you up to $4,800/month
to advertise our links on your website.If you’re interested, read our terms from this page:
https://www.contactthem.ws/hit.php?s=[##]&p=[#]&w=[####]Sincerely,

Note: Most identifying information, except her name, about the affiliate has been edited for his / her safety.
ContactThem created a “system” which teaches the affiliates to follow this template to create customized emails to blast to unsuspecting websites in the hope of luring some of them in their scheme.
Why is it spam?
1. It is unsolicited commercial email.
2. It contains no way to unsubscribed from future mailings from ContactThem of their affiliates.
It is carefully written to misguide you, “we will pay you up to $4,800/month”. Note the word “up to”. You can get paid 0$ and it still fulfills their promise. In reality you get paid only when a product is sold, assuming they are true to their words, as you can find from their affiliate site.
Others on the net have expressed similar concerns.
Why is it distributed spamming?
ContactThem Network lures in unsuspecting simpletons with promise of getting rich quick, sells them a costly book and then convinces them to do the dirty work of spamming. Ingenuous, isn’t it?

Contactthem is adding an update shortly to give website owners an unsubscribe option. “up to” is not misguiding and a rather common phrase used by MOST ALL internet money making programs. Yes, assume it is true…contactthem paid me by check on March 17th in the amount of $665.71 Others have infact shared similar concerns and I have to applaud you for using original copy in your thoughts about contactthem as most articles are obvious copy / paste. Last but not least…What BOOK? There is no costly book to buy. I’m not sure where you get your information but it’s inaccurate. Peace and Joy! |
