Am I Too Bold?

Time and again I have been asked by people - where is the link? And it is not their fault.

In this blog the links were in semi-bold with bright-red color (and without the underline) which made them sometimes hard to find for color-blind and sometimes even normal people.

I didn’t want to go back to underline days as it was too ugly. So I am experimenting with using bold font-weight to highlight the links. The upside is that the link resumes its normal font once you have viewed the page

Let me know if it helps or if it is simply too pronounced and / or uglier overall.
